Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is a very popular procedure performed at our clinic. Numerous women, younger and older, have enjoyed the benefits of the recent FDA release of silicone-filled breast implant. In addition, for the past year or so, Dr. Drehsen has been pioneering 'Subfascial Breast Augmentation,' which he calls the 'internal bra procedure.' In this procedure, the implant is placed under the investing fibrous layer of the muscle. This approach avoids the late implant displacement (loss of cleavage) and provides better support ('internal bra'), as compared to breast augmentation performed by way of under the muscle placement. So far, this new and exciting approach has produced beautiful and stable cleavage with minimum downtime. It has also permitted the correction of moderate breast and nipple asymmetry.
